Frequently Asked Questions About Neck Pain

Can neck problems cause headaches?

Yes, absolutely. Tension headaches often originate from the neck. The muscles at the back of your head and neck can refer pain to your head and even your forehead or behind your eyes.

Is cracking my neck dangerous?

The sound you hear when cracking is usually harmless (gas bubbles in your joints). However, as a physiotherapist, I advise against self-manipulation. It's better to leave this to a professional.

How long does recovery from neck problems take?

This depends on the severity and duration of your problems. Acute issues can recover within a few weeks. Chronic problems take more time, but with the right approach, we always see improvement.
