Do You Recognize These Symptoms?

Pain with Movement

Sharp pain when lifting your arm, especially when reaching above shoulder height or behind your back.

Night Pain

Difficulty sleeping on the affected shoulder. Pain that wakes you up.

Limited Movement

You can no longer move your arm as far as before. Stiffness that gets worse.

My Approach to Shoulder Problems

Shoulder problems require accurate diagnosis. I examine not just your shoulder, but also your neck, upper back, and posture. Contributing factors often lie there. My treatment combines mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and a progressive exercise program. As a personal trainer, I know exactly how to get your shoulder strong and stable again.

Frequently Asked Questions About Shoulder Problems

What is impingement?

Impingement means pinching. In the shoulder, structures (tendons, bursa) get pinched between the shoulder roof and the head of the upper arm. This causes pain with certain movements.

Do I need to stop exercising?

Not necessarily. Depending on your condition, we can often modify movements so you can continue exercising. Complete rest is rarely the best solution.

When is surgery needed?

Most shoulder problems recover with physiotherapy. Surgery is only needed for structural damage that cannot be treated conservatively. We always try conservative treatment first.
